Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids was born in Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her father worked as an educator at school and her mother as an at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. When McCormick was six years young, she took home an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her and asked her whether she would like to enter the show business. McCormick found her first role as a major actress in the year 1964. She starred in a commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she starred in a second commercial on television for Chatty-Cathy's doll. Soon afterward, McCormick was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the character of Wind It up until It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed, newlyweds who had an unmarried family. The show ran for five seasons. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to her screen brother and co-star Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that during season five of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams. It would have happened she said but the timing wasn't the right time for us.
